CDI Latino is an entry blend from Compagnie des Indes, the respected French house known for its terroir led single casks alongside a few lightly and openly dosed blends like this one. Drawing on molasses and cane juice rums in a Spanish leaning style, it is built to be smooth, affordable and approachable rather than to showcase intensity. It makes an easy first step into the CDI range.

Blended from column still rum aged in ex bourbon wood, it is sweetened, and the dosage shows in its light, soft, easy character. Expect caramel, vanilla, honey and gentle tropical fruit, with a fruity, nutty, butterscotch finish. At 40 percent it stays smooth and undemanding, a friendly profile for newcomers. It works equally as a casual sipper or a mixer, offering recognisable Spanish style sweetness with a touch more spice and fruit than the most basic bottles in this part of the market.
