Description
Cazcanes No.7 Blanco is a 100% Blue Weber tequila made in Amatitan, Jalisco, the heart of the lowland Valles zone, from fully mature organic agave grown in the valley and harvested at peak sugar. The brand takes its name from the Cazcanes people, and the line is built around additive-free, traditional production carried into a modern bottling.
The agave is cooked gently in a low pressure autoclave over roughly 24 hours, a slow approach meant to draw out and protect the natural agave aromas, then the juice is extracted with a roller mill. Bottled unaged at 40% ABV, it shows the clean lowland agave directly, with grapefruit, orange and a backbone of sweet agave on the nose alongside baking spice and dark cherry, and a palate of grapefruit, sweet agave and a light vanilla and coconut edge. The finish is long, crisp and bright with no additives to round it off.
