Juicy orange leads with real presence, the sweet citrus deliberately set above juniper’s bitterness and brightened by crisp apple. Bottled at a punchier 45% in small Austrian batches, this Old Tom keeps its structure while letting orchard fruit shine. Citrus-bright and rounded, with a long, balanced close.

Description
Aurantius takes its name from its dominant orange notes, and CASASTOS Spirits make no apology for putting them front and centre. Distilled in a limited Austrian small batch at a firmer 45%, it sets juicy oranges and fresh apple against a woody juniper base, the citrus deliberately outweighing juniper's natural bitterness to open up a different reading of a classic gin. Apple nuances add freshness and round off the profile, the whole thing intense yet balanced.
The nose is fresh orange and juicy apple with juniper and a hint of citrus zest. The palate is fruity and intensely orange, crisp apple alongside, with a mild sweetness and harmonious juniper spice, closing citrus-accentuated, round and long. Serve it with a neutral or Mediterranean tonic over plenty of ice, garnished with a slice of orange or apple to echo the fruit.
