This CASASTOS Limited Edition 2025 is a small-batch Old Tom released in a run of only 200 bottles. The Austrian distillery built it around a trio of citrus, fresh limes, aromatic bergamot and exotic calamansi, set against woody juniper and a thread of elderflower. Bottled at a robust 45%, it relies on the gentle Old Tom style to fold that strength into something smooth.
The nose is vivid with lime, bergamot and calamansi over juniper and floral elderflower. The palate is intensely citrusy and juicy, the lime lively, the bergamot aromatic, a subtle sweetness and harmonious juniper spice keeping it balanced, before a fresh, gently floral finish. Pour it into a Mediterranean gin and tonic with ice and a curl of bergamot or lime peel.
