Description
Casa de Hamsa Reposado is a 100% Blue Weber agave tequila from the Casa Tequilera Alma de Mexico distillery in the highlands of Jalisco, founded by a group of six friends and recognised by the protective Hamsa hand on the bottle. The producer states the tequila is made without additives such as glycerin, sugar or colouring.
It rests at least six months in hand-selected American white oak barrels, drawing out its golden colour and a soft balance of agave and wood. The nose is a harmonious mix of cooked agave, gentle vanilla and a quiet oak note. The palate is silky, carrying creamy caramel, honey and a soft barrel spice over the agave core, bottled at 38%.
