Casa D'Aristi Xtabentún Liqueur is a traditional Mexican liqueur from Yucatán, made to a long standing recipe rooted in Mayan culture. Its base is fermented honey from the Xtabentún flower, a wild white flower native to the region whose honey the Maya once used in ceremonial drinks, combined with aniseed and rum to give a sweet and spicy character. This expression is bottled at 30% ABV.

The nose is intense and sweet with floral honey, spicy aniseed and a hint of tropical spice, the palate soft and full bodied with sweet honey, spicy aniseed and the gentle warmth of the rum, lifted by the flower's exotic note, and the finish long, velvety and pleasantly sweet with lingering honey and aniseed. A touch of orange peel rounds the profile. Behind the bar it brings honeyed sweetness, an anise backbone and rum warmth, which makes it a natural in Mexican coffee cocktails, a spiced sweetener in stirred drinks, and a floral note alongside citrus. Serve it neat over ice to show its complex sweetness and spicy aniseed.
