Description
Casa Cofradia Special Reserve Silver is a 100% agave Blanco from La Cofradia, a Jalisco house that has produced tequila for over fifty years. The Edition range carries the most striking bottle in the La Cofradia lineup, with this Blanco filled after distillation into a futuristic porcelain decanter as a special series. La Cofradia, whose name means brotherhood, also runs contract production for other labels at its distillery.
Bottled unaged, the tequila keeps the agave to the fore. The nose is fresh, with cooked agave and citrus over a touch of pepper and subtle herbal hints. The palate is soft and intense, led by agave sweetness and rounded out by lime, white pepper and light mineral notes, while the finish is clean and medium length with a pleasant spice and a faint earthy tone. Bottled at 38%.
