Description
Kill Devil is the rum arm of Scottish whisky house Hunter Laing, known for single cask bottlings at natural strength, non chill filtered and unadulterated. This release draws on the Carrere distillery at Montebello on Guadeloupe, a 1998 vintage with a full 24 years of age.
Made from fresh pressed sugar cane juice in the agricole tradition and aged in ex-bourbon oak, a Guadeloupe rum of this vintage should show the grassy cane core matured into deep vanilla, baking spice, leather and toasted oak. Bottled in the natural whisky house style at 44.5% from a single cask.
