Cantares de Portugal Licor de Arroz Doce is a cream liqueur from Portugal that brings arroz doce, the country's cinnamon spiced rice pudding, to life in a glass. It sits at 15%, made from fresh cream, fine sugar and a hint of cinnamon to a recipe that pays homage to Portugal's dessert culture. As a cream liqueur it is a dairy emulsion, sweet and smooth rather than a spirit forward drink.

The nose is sweet and inviting with vanilla, rice pudding, cinnamon and caramel, and the palate is creamy and smooth, cream, cinnamon and vanilla over a fine rice sweetness, closing long, round and mild with sweet and spicy nuances. Behind the bar it is a spiced dessert and body ingredient: it adds creamy cinnamon sweetness to after dinner cocktails, enriches a White Russian or an Espresso Martini riff, and pairs with crème brûlée, panna cotta, apple strudel or rice pudding itself. It pours best lightly chilled or over ice. As a dairy product, keep it cool once opened and use it within a few months.
