Cane Island – Single Island Blend

Cane Island offers approachable single origin blends, and this Trinidad bottling stays true to the island's light, column still tradition in the Spanish heritage idiom. Aged five years and bottled at a soft 40%, it is built as an entry point rather than a statement piece.

Distilled from molasses and matured in ex-bourbon oak, it leads with caramel, orange and citrus, the palate turning sweet and syrupy with a cola note and a slightly synthetic edge. The finish stays sweet and gently woody with dried fruit. Light bodied, easy and uncomplicated, it reads as a smooth introduction to Trinidad rum and works comfortably neat or stretched into a long mixed drink, honest about its simple, sweeter leaning character rather than pretending to depth it does not chase.
