This Cameronbridge was from the independent bottler The House of MacDuff matured to 15 year old distilled in 2006, from cask CG004 and bottled at 59.7%. A release of 283 bottles. Cameronbridge is a Lowland grain distillery in Fife, founded in 1824 by John Haig and now the largest distillery in Scotland. It was the home of continuous distillation in Scotland; John Haig installed Stein then Coffey stills and made the country's first commercial grain whisky.

The spirit was run off the distillery's three column stills from a wheat mash, to build a soft, sweet grain character. Ex-Bourbon casks held the grain, soft oak that drives the sweetness. At a youthful age the spirit is bright, sweet and clean. Continuous distillation gives a light, clean spirit, so the cask drives much of the flavour. A founding member of the Distillers Company in 1877, it is now Diageo's largest distillery. Since Port Dundas closed in 2010, it is Diageo's only wholly owned grain distillery.

At cask strength 59.7% it is full bodied. The ex-Bourbon gives a sweet, oily vanilla. It is clean and sweet, the grain spirit shining through. Crème brûlée and oak draw out the close. This is a single grain from Scotland's largest grain distillery.
