Description
Cadenhead Green Label Panamanian Rum is a seventeen year old molasses rum bottled by Cadenhead, the long-running Scottish independent. Its Green Label line brings the merchant-led, natural-strength approach of a whisky house to rum, and Panama is a major source of well-aged column-distilled spirit for bottlers of this kind.
Matured in ex-bourbon and bottled at 46%, it should drink in the soft Panama style of vanilla, caramel and mellow oak spice, with the long ageing adding depth and the higher strength giving it more grip than a standard 40% release. A clean, honest aged Panamanian in the Cadenhead manner.
