Caballero Spiced Orange Liqueur is made in Spain by Luis Caballero, a fruit liqueur that sets the fresh fruitiness of oranges against a blend of herbs and warming spices. It sits at 25%, balanced between sweetness, fruit and spice, with the orange leading and cinnamon, clove and a touch of vanilla giving it a savoury edge. In the traditional macerated orange style, the peel carries the aroma while the spice adds depth.
The nose is intense orange with spicy cinnamon and clove and a hint of vanilla, and the palate is fruity and spicy at once, sweet orange meeting fine spice and a light herbal note, the sweetness held by a pleasant warmth.
