Brooklyn Gin Small Batch

Brooklyn Gin is made in small batches at Brooklyn Craft Works, distilled in a traditional copper pot still from locally grown corn. The distillery's signature is its insistence on fresh ingredients: citrus peel is cut by hand and juniper berries are hand-cracked rather than bought pre-ground, a labour-intensive habit that keeps the spirit vivid and free of artificial flavourings, all at 40%.

The nose is fresh, dominant juniper edged with citrus and fine floral accents. The palate is lively and bright, intense juniper meeting orange and lime zest with a subtle spiciness behind; the finish is long and gently peppery with a lift of citrus. Reach for a gin and tonic garnished with fresh lime or grapefruit, where its fresh-cut citrus character really shows.
