Brockmans Intensely Smooth Gin

Brockmans breaks from the dry tradition on purpose, building its Intensely Smooth gin around selected berries and citrus alongside the usual botanicals. Classic juniper, coriander seeds and angelica root form the base, then blueberries, blackberries, Valencian orange peel and lemon peel lend the fruit and the unusually smooth texture; the matt-black bottle marks it out as something modern.

The nose is juniper, dark berries and citrus over coriander and floral nuances. The palate is soft and balanced, blackberry and blueberry leading with juniper, citrus and fine spice behind, finishing long, elegant and fruity. A natural for a Bramble, it is just as good in a G&T with a neutral tonic and a scatter of fresh blackberries.
