Breiz'ile Collection Vanille Au Rhum Vieux is a flavoured rum from the French house Breiz'ile, this one built on an aged agricole base of fresh-pressed sugar-cane juice steeped with vanilla. The vieux base hints at some oak underneath the flavouring, a warmer foundation than a white-rum arrange.

Bottled at 32%, it leans sweet and soft in the liqueur register, so expect vanilla to dominate with the grassy, lightly oaked agricole character playing a supporting role. Best enjoyed chilled after dinner or stretched into a long drink.
