Brave New Spirits Travellers Da Gama Rum 2006 is a single cask from Belize's Travellers distillery, selected by the independent Brave New Spirits and drawn from the 2006 vintage with a substantial seventeen years of age. Pot still Travellers at this age is an uncommon find.
The rum is molasses based and pot distilled, matured in ex-bourbon wood and bottled at a cask strength 54.9%. The long maturation and full proof point to a concentrated, structured pour. Expect a richer, weightier expression of Belize rum than the distillery's lighter column make, with deep oak influence built up over seventeen years.
