Bottega Crema di Pannacotta Cream Liqueur

Bottega is a family distillery in the Veneto, working grappa since Aldo Bottega introduced the first single varietal grappa and founded the distillery in 1977, now set in a restored 17th century farmhouse among its own vineyards. This cream liqueur takes its character from panna cotta, the silky Piedmontese dessert, blending cream, milk and vanilla into a smooth emulsion at 15%.

The nose is a delicate aroma of cream and vanilla over a fine milk note, the palate smooth, round and enveloping with an elegant sweetness, the finish soft, harmonious and long with a hint of vanilla. Behind the bar it adds dairy body, a vanilla cream flavour and gentle sweetness, a clean dessert ingredient for creamy cocktails. It works as an after dinner liqueur with fresh fruit, ice cream or cream desserts, and stirs into vanilla and dessert serves. Serve it well chilled, around 3 degrees, and as a dairy liqueur keep it cool and use it within a few months of opening.
