Description
Made at the Edelobstbrennerei Schleihauf, this strictly limited bottling leans on the distillery's fruit-spirit heritage, folding grapes and elderflower into the botanical bill alongside a fine note of quality sparkling wine. The run stops at 2,000 bottles, each numbered by hand in gold and dressed in a metal-lidded tin; the gin itself is vegan, free of artificial additives and made with a deliberately light touch.
The nose opens floral and gentle, elderflower and grape rising ahead of a clear juniper line. On the palate it stays finely structured and just-sweet, the sparkling-wine nuance lending an effervescent edge before a long, soft, floral finish. Pour it over plenty of ice with Fever-Tree Mediterranean tonic to draw out the blossom and fruit.
