Böser Kater Christmas Gin Limited Edition

Each winter the Schleihauf family's German fruit distillery dresses its Böser Kater gin for the season, this limited Christmas edition handmade like the rest of the range, with part of every sale going to cat protection in tribute to founder's-cat Rüdiger. It leans into the flavours of the festive table: cinnamon, honey and orange woven through a spread of winter spice, gold-toned in the glass and built for the short, dark days.

The nose is all Christmas, cinnamon and honey over bright orange and warm spice. The palate carries orange peel, more cinnamon and honey and that winter-spice warmth into a long finish. Serve it long over ice with tonic and an orange twist, or add a measure to a pan of mulled wine as a festive shot.
