Bols Cherry Brandy Liqueur

Bols Cherry Brandy comes from Lucas Bols, the Amsterdam house distilling and blending liqueurs since 1575, made from carefully selected cherries and brandy for a smooth texture and a deep cherry flavour. Bottled at 24% in 70cl, it sits within the brand's fruit range. In the traditional fruit liqueur style the cherry leads, rounded by a gentle spirit spice.

The nose is intense cherry with a mild, slightly spicy brandy note, the palate fruity and sweet with a clear cherry flavour folding into a subtle brandy spice, the finish smooth and long with cherry sweetness and a slightly spicy close. Its job in a glass is cherry flavour, sweetness and a deep colour, which makes it a natural in a Cherry Brandy Sour or a Brandy Cherry Collins, and a useful fruit and colour note in vintage serves. Pour it neat over ice as a fruity digestif, or reach for it where a recipe calls for cherry brandy. A dependable cherry note for the back bar.
