Bols Apricot Brandy comes from Lucas Bols, the Amsterdam house distilling and blending liqueurs since 1575, and sits within the brand's fruit range, bottled at 24% in 70cl. It captures the sweetness of ripe apricots over a mild brandy note. In the traditional fruit liqueur style the apricot leads, soft and sweet, rounded by a gentle spirit warmth.

The nose is a pleasant bouquet of apricot with a hint of caramel and a subtle sweetness, the palate fruity and sweet with the clear flavour of ripe apricot folding into a mild brandy note, the finish smooth and mellow with apricot lingering. Its job in a glass is stone-fruit sweetness and a soft body, which makes it a natural in an Apricot Sour or a Brandy Alexander variation, and a useful fruit note in tiki and vintage serves. Pour it neat over ice as a fruity digestif, or reach for it whenever a recipe simply calls for apricot brandy. A dependable apricot note for the back bar.
