Bologne VSOP Rhum Vieux Superieur is an aged agricole from the Bologne distillery on Basse-Terre, Guadeloupe. As a blend built from cane juice rums of several ages, it sits in the comfortable, drier middle of the aged agricole field.

Distilled from fresh pressed cane juice on a column still and matured around eight years in ex bourbon oak, it leans into wood and spice rather than grassy snap. The nose offers wood, dried fruit, sugarcane and caramel, the palate woody and spicy with vanilla and cinnamon, and the finish stays on tobacco, spice, pepper and wood.
