Crisp and direct: juniper up front, then a clean rush of lime and lemon. Born from German rock band Böhse Onkelz to mark their fortieth anniversary, it arrives in a matt-black skull bottle that doubles as a drinking vessel. Classic dry-gin bones with a citrus snap and a long finish.

Description
The Böhse Onkelz Dry Gin began as a fortieth-anniversary project for the German rock band, who formed in 1980 and decided to bottle their own spirit to mark the milestone. The whole thing leans into their image: a matt-black bottle stamped with a skull that isn't just decoration but can be used as a drinking container, ice cubes and lime slices dropped inside. The liquid keeps the classic dry-gin character clear and uncomplicated.
The nose is straightforward juniper and citrus, and the palate follows through with juniper, orange and lemon in a clean, well-defined line. It finishes long, with that citrus brightness holding on. Keep it honest in a tall glass with tonic, plenty of ice and a fat wedge of lime, or build it into a no-nonsense Gin Fizz.
