Lemongrass and cubeb pepper bring an exotic, almost tropical freshness, while clove and cinnamon settle in with gentle warmth. Built on an old Indonesian family recipe and distilled botanical-by-botanical in Schiedam, it threads spice, citrus and flowers into one balanced whole. A gin with two homelands in every sip.

Description
Bobby's traces back to Jacobus 'Bobby' Alfons, an Indonesian grandfather whose family recipe his descendants revived in 2014 with the help of Schiedam genever house Herman Jansen. The town has distilled gin and jenever for centuries, and that heritage steadies eight botanicals that are distilled individually then blended with care: juniper, coriander, lemongrass, cubeb pepper, clove, cinnamon, fennel seed and rosehip. The bottle wears an Indonesian ikat pattern, a nod to the thread between two cultures.
The nose is all exotic lift, lemongrass and spicy clove over juniper. The palate is complex and balanced, citrus freshness and floral undertones laced with a spicy warmth, before a long finish where cubeb pepper meets the soft sweetness of cinnamon and rosehip. Serve it with tonic and a bruised stalk of lemongrass, or let it carry the spice in a Negroni.
