Vanilla, sweet oak and dried fruit warm a five-times-distilled juniper, with orange peel and a caramel edge rounding it off. Rested in new American oak by Philadelphia Distilling, it sits gold in the glass. Soft, full-bodied and made for slow sipping.

Description
Bluecoat is distilled in Philadelphia, the birthplace of American independence, in a hand-hammered copper still that the makers run slow and five times over, keeping only the cleanest, most flavourful spirit. This bottling goes a step further, resting the gin in new American oak so the barrel can lend a warm, vanilla-edged depth and a soft woody glow. At 47% it keeps the gin's character intact beneath the wood.
It pours light gold with amber lights. The nose is juniper laced with vanilla, sweet wood, orange peel and a touch of caramel. The palate is soft and full, spicy juniper meeting warm oak, dried fruit and fine vanilla, the finish long, warm and gently spiced. Sip it neat over a single rock, or build a Gin Old Fashioned and let the barrel do the talking.
