Bright lime and yuzu lead, sharp and lifted, with fresh herbs trailing behind and a peppery warmth underneath. Big Gino's May Chang takes its name and its character from litsea cubeba, the aromatic plant prized in aromatherapy for its bright, reviving lemon scent. Handcrafted in Italy and bottled at a confident 45% in a full litre, it builds its citrus-forward profile through careful botanical selection and traditional distillation, with no artificial colour or preservatives. The name translates as call of the angel, and the gin carries that same uplifting energy.

The nose is all citrus, lime and yuzu to the fore, with a whisper of fresh herbs behind. The palate is fresh and lively, sweet citrus balanced against subtle spicy undertones, never tipping into sharpness. It finishes long, dry and refreshing with a light peppery note. Pour it into a gin and tonic with plenty of ice and a wedge of lime, or let it carry a citrus-forward Negroni.
