Berliner Luft Der Frische is the original fresh peppermint liqueur from Schilkin, the family distiller in Berlin Kaulsdorf that has made it since 1932 and a fixture of modern Berlin drinking culture. Produced to a tried and tested recipe and noted as lactose free and gluten free, it balances freshness, sweetness and clarity at 18%. The clean peppermint character is the whole point of the drink.

The nose is fresh, clear and intense with dominant peppermint, the palate cool, mild and pleasantly sweet with a natural mint flavour and a soft structure, the finish long, clean and refreshing. Behind the bar it brings a cooling mint lift and a gentle sweetness, the mint note for a Grasshopper, a chocolate mint serve or a long drink with lemonade or tonic. It pairs neatly with chocolate liqueurs for an after dinner pour, and shows its full freshness chilled, neat or as a shot. Serve it cold.
