Berentzen The Original Apfel is a classic German apple liqueur from the Berentzen distillery in Lower Saxony, a house known for its liqueurs and distilling since 1758. It is made from fresh juicy apples and a neutral spirit, balancing natural apple flavour against a light, gentle warmth, bottled at 18%. In the traditional fruit liqueur style the apple leads, kept clean and fruity.

The nose is fresh crisp apple with a fine sweetness and a hint of citrus, the palate soft and fruity with intense apple, a subtle vanilla sweetness and a fresh citrus edge, the finish long and refreshing with lingering apple. Behind the bar it brings clean apple flavour and rounded sweetness, the apple note for an apple sour or an apple fizz where it comes into its own.
