Berentzen Fruchtige Himbeere-Pfirsich Likör

Berentzen Fruchtige Himbeere-Pfirsich is a fruit liqueur from the long established Berentzen house at Haselunne in Lower Saxony, whose distilling roots reach back to 1758. It pairs the sweet flavours of ripe raspberries and juicy peaches over a mild grain base, bottled at a gentle 16%. In the traditional fruit liqueur style the fruit character leads, kept soft and approachable rather than sharp.

The nose is fresh and inviting, all ripe raspberry and peach, and the palate is fruity and sweet with a slight raspberry acidity that balances the peach. Behind the bar it works as a fruit sweetener and colour, adding berry and stone fruit body to a drink without heavy bitterness. It is built for long, refreshing serves, topped with soda, tonic or Prosecco for a quick fruit spritz, and it lifts a simple sparkling pour into something summery.
