Matured in ex-bourbon oak, it is unsweetened yet reads as unusually gourmand, with coconut, pineapple and honey on the nose giving way to cocoa, caramelised sugar and leather on the palate, the coconut staying prominent throughout. The finish brings chocolate, leather and tropical fruit. The natural sweetness and coconut-heavy charm keep it easy to drink despite the strength, the alcohol well carried.
