Bambarria Blanco Destilado de Agave Mango

Bambarria Blanco Mango is a flavoured Mexican agave spirit built on a blue agave base and finished with natural mango extract. At 35% ABV it falls just under the tequila minimum, so legally it is an agave spirit rather than a tequila, and because it lacks the heavy added sugar of a liqueur it stays light and drinkable. It is produced at the Casa Maestri distillery in the heart of Jalisco.
The nose is generous with ripe tropical mango, lifted by the fresh, lightly earthy character of blue agave and a touch of citrus. On the palate the juicy sweetness of the mango extract is balanced by a fine, gently peppery agave spice, leaving a clean fruited finish. It suits sipping over ice or mixing into bright, fruit-forward agave cocktails.
