Bambarria Blanco Destilado de Agave Coconut

Bambarria Blanco Coconut is a Mexican destilado de agave flavoured with natural coconut extract, not a tequila and not a liqueur. At 35% it sits just below the legal tequila threshold, so it carries the category name agave spirit, and unlike a true liqueur it skips the heavy dose of added sugar, which keeps it soft and approachable rather than cloying.
Made on a blue agave base, it opens with an intensely tropical nose of cream and ripe coconut underpinned by the fresh, faintly herbaceous note of the agave itself. The palate is mild and rounded, the full coconut sweetness folding into a light peppery agave structure. It works neat over ice or as the backbone of a tropical agave cocktail, where the coconut reads as flavour rather than syrup.
