Baileys created the cream liqueur category in 1974, marrying Irish whiskey with fresh dairy cream in a stable emulsion, and it remains the original and best selling name in its class, sold in more than 150 countries. This edition combines that creamy base with the intense flavour of espresso, bottled at 17%.

The nose is intense coffee with a delicate creamy note and a hint of cocoa, the palate full bodied and creamy with fresh espresso harmonising with the gentle sweetness of Irish cream and a subtle whiskey note, the finish long with a lingering coffee flavour. Behind the bar it is a coffee and body ingredient in one, bringing roast, dairy richness and sweetness to a Baileys Espresso Martini, an Irish coffee or a White Russian riff, where it stands in for both cream and coffee liqueur at once. It pours slightly chilled or over ice and lifts coffee cocktails and desserts. As a dairy product it should be kept cool once opened and used within a few months.
