Description
Badel Bajadera Cream Liqueur comes from Badel 1862, the Croatian house working since 1862, and takes its flavour from Bajadera, the country's popular hazelnut nougat praline. It folds the delicate sweetness of hazelnut nougat, cocoa and cream into a stable dairy emulsion at 16%, bringing confectionery flavour to the cream liqueur shelf.
The nose is creamy and sweet with hazelnut, cocoa, caramel and a hint of vanilla, the palate full bodied and smooth with nougat, milk chocolate, nuts and cream, the finish round and long with a fine nuttiness and mild sweetness. Behind the bar it is a dessert and body ingredient, adding nutty, chocolate dairy richness and sweetness to a Nutty Irishman, a hazelnut White Russian or an Espresso Martini riff, and it stands in for cream in sweet, layered serves. It pours chilled or over ice as a dessert liqueur, sits beside coffee and cake, and enriches ice cream or tiramisu. As a dairy product it should be kept cool once opened and used within a few months.
