Bacane Infused Rum

Bacane is a flavoured Barbados rum built around banana, made from molasses and presented without an age statement at a gentle 40%. The infusion sets the tone, so this reads as a soft, sweet-natured drink rather than a serious aged sipper, and it is best approached on those terms.

The nose leans on banana, burnt sugar, honey and a roasted nut warmth, while the palate stays dark and fruit-forward with a kiwi tartness cutting through. The finish is short and caramelised. Sweetness and infusion are doing much of the work here, so this is a casual, fruit-driven pour, pleasant over ice or in a relaxed mix, and honest about being a flavoured rum rather than a dry Bajan blend.
