Full-bodied and fresh, citrus fruit riding over a herbal, spicy base with juniper kept deliberately soft. Distilled by Poland’s Pravda house, it leans on herbs more than berries, finishing with a cool, minty lift. A gin for those who like green and savoury where others go piney.

Description
Ashmont is the work of Pravda, a Polish distillery with long experience in spirits and a taste for restraint. Rather than push the juniper to the front, the house lets a fine blend of herbs do the talking, with citrus woven through and the berry note held back to a whisper. Traditional distillation and careful botanical selection give it a polished, sociable character built for sharing.
The bouquet is complex: citrus, herbs and a flicker of spice. The palate is generous and fresh, bright citrus over a herbal-spicy base with only the faintest juniper underneath, and it closes long with a cool, minty edge and gentle warmth. Best in a classic gin and tonic with a squeeze of lemon and a sprig of rosemary to draw out the herbs; it suits a Negroni equally well.
