Description

Arhumatic Menthe is a flavoured rum from Guadeloupe, built on a column-distilled agricole base of fresh-pressed sugar-cane juice rather than molasses. It follows the French arrange tradition of steeping flavouring in cane spirit, here fresh mint for a cooling, aromatic profile.

Bottled at 28%, it sits in the soft, sweetened liqueur register rather than as a dry spirit, so expect bright mint to lead over the grassy cane base. Serve it well chilled or over plenty of ice, where it makes a natural partner for mojito-style long drinks.
