Arehucas Anejo Reserva Especial comes from a long established Gran Canaria distillery working in the Spanish ron tradition, column distilled and carrying twelve years of age. It is mild and rounded, built for relaxed drinking rather than challenge.

Matured in ex bourbon wood and bottled at 40%, it shows caramel, honey, vanilla and barrel on the nose, a sweet, buttery palate, and a finish of tobacco, spice and soft oak. Added sugar is unstated, but Spanish heritage styles of this kind commonly carry some dosage, and the soft, sweet profile reads that way.
