Description
This 1991 vintage is a 15 year old anCnoc, bottled in 2006 for Germany. An early vintage of Knockdhu distillery near Knock in Banffshire, named anCnoc to keep it distinct from Knockando.
The granite distillery returned to work in 1989. Matured in ex-Bourbon over fifteen years, the oak deepens the fruit with vanilla and a touch of spice.
Bottled at 46%. The oak offers vanilla with a coconut edge. Tasting notes take in fresh fruit, honey, a leathery note, a malt extract edge, new wood and a nutty note. An early-vintage anCnoc.
