Amarula Cream Ethiopian Coffee is a South African cream liqueur from Distell, built on the fruit of the wild Marula tree and blended with extracts of pure Ethiopian Arabica coffee, bottled at 15.5%. It joins the creamy, fruity Marula base, the heart of the original Amarula, to the aromatic depth of freshly roasted coffee, making a cream liqueur that reads as both fruit and roast. The pairing of African Marula and Ethiopian coffee is its defining idea.

The nose is aromatic with freshly brewed coffee, Marula fruit and chocolate, the palate full bodied, creamy and harmonious with Arabica, Marula, caramel and a citrus edge, finishing long, soft and sweet with an elegant coffee note. Behind the bar it adds dairy richness, coffee roast and sweetness in one pour, which makes it an easy lift for a creamy coffee cocktail, an Amarula coffee or a dessert serve alongside tiramisu or chocolate. Pour it neat over ice to show the texture, or stir it into coffee. As a dairy product, keep it cool once opened and use it reasonably fresh.
