Worthy Park is the clean, precise single estate of St. Catherine, and this Albert Michler single cask takes its pot still spirit to 12 years. Bottled at a comfortable 49%, it pairs the distillery's natural fruit with a drier, oakier maturity for an even handed Jamaican sipper.

Distilled from molasses on the pot still and matured in ex-bourbon oak in Europe, the continental ageing builds oak gently over the years. The aroma is mango, overripe banana and sweetness, the palate turns spicy, fruity and peppery, and the finish brings fruit, oak and vanilla. There is glue, honey, citrus and baking spice behind the fruit, with mint and a touch of bitterness adding interest. It is full bodied with a long finish, balancing natural sweetness against dry oak, a satisfying step up in strength for drinkers who like balanced Jamaicans without overwhelming heat.
