    Edition 2023
    700 ml / 44.4%
    London Dry

Dried fruit, warm spice and balsamic depth crowd the glass before fresh citrus cuts through. Rested in reactivated family casks, this organic Portuguese gin carries genuine oak structure beneath its juniper. Powerful, layered and unmistakably mature.

This second Adamus Signature Edition 2023 bottling, made at Destilaria Levira under Master Distiller Rui Cruz, leans harder into the cask. Old family barrels were rediscovered and reactivated for the release, and the maturation in them gives this organic dry gin a depth and weight that pushes it well clear of the standard segment. Each bottle is numbered, a small tribute to origin and patience.

The nose is intense and complex, dried fruits and fine spice meeting citrus and a balsamic edge. The palate is multi-layered and powerful, elegant spice and fresh citrus brushing up against hints of exotic wood and a fine oak frame, before a long, dry, balanced finish. Sip it neat to appreciate the wood, or pour it into a gin and tonic with a dry tonic and a curl of dried orange.
