A. Sine Blanco Bag in Box 3 Liters

A. Sine Blanco is a young white from D.O. Terra Alta, made by El Vi a Punt from Garnacha Blanca. The project is run by Oriol Pérez de Tudela with the aim of raising the quality of everyday drinking, offering simple, well-made wine in a three litre Bag in Box that keeps it fresh and convenient once opened. The fruit comes from Gandesa in Tarragona, a prime growing area near the mouth of the Ebro on soils low in organic matter. Terra Alta is Spain's stronghold for white Grenache, a warm inland zone where the grape ripens to a rounded, generous style, and the poor soils here restrain vigour and concentrate the fruit. The wine is vinified young and fresh, without oak, to hold the variety's soft texture and floral aromatics. The colour is pale straw. The nose shows white fruit and marked floral notes, white peach, pear and melon with a lift of white flowers. The palate is light, smooth and easy, with citrus peel and a subtle herbal edge, finishing clean and lingering. At 14.7% it carries real warmth for the style. Serve at 9 to 11 degrees.
