Description
818 Eight Reserve is an añejo tequila from the 818 brand, made in Jalisco from Blue Weber agave. It is built as a blend that draws on extra añejo stock aged up to eight years in a mix of French and American oak casks, then presented in a hand-finished ceramic decanter made by artisans in Pachuca, a limited release positioned as the brand's deepest expression.
Because it leans on long-aged components, this is an oak-led tequila. The nose carries vanilla, clove and cinnamon alongside roasted nuts, honey, orange peel and black cherry, while the palate shows cooked agave, vanilla, cinnamon, dried berries and praline before a long, silky finish with fruit and spice accents. Bottled at 40%. The profile sits on the soft, sweet, vanilla-forward side of añejo rather than the rustic agave end.
