3 Kilos Vodka starts with hand-selected European golden wheat, fermented and distilled in the historic Dutch town of Schiedam using a five-column distillation process. The high-proof grain spirit is then refined with water treated by reverse osmosis to strip out impurities, and the wheat base gives a soft, velvety texture. For Coco Gold, fresh coconut and natural flavours are blended into the five-times-distilled spirit, bottled at 30% in the brand's distinctive gold-bar bottle that shields it from light.

The nose is tropical with floral notes, coconut and vanilla pod, the palate is velvety and soft with fresh coconut, and the finish is long. The coconut practically asks for the tropics, so build a short Piña Colada riff: 50ml shaken hard with 75ml pineapple juice and 25ml coconut cream over ice, then poured over fresh crushed ice.
