Lav’a Belle Apéritif Liqueur de Lavande

Lav'a Belle is a lavender aperitif liqueur from Austria, made by Eichenwald Weine and bottled at 18%. At its heart are organic lavender flowers from France, which give the liqueur its character, joined by rosemary, thyme and other selected herbs, with Bourbon vanilla and citrus fruit adding depth and freshness. The floral lavender lead, framed by the herbs of Provence, is the defining idea, bringing the lifestyle of the south of France into the glass.

The nose is floral lavender with Mediterranean herbs, fine citrus notes and subtle vanilla, the palate elegant and balanced with lavender blossom, Provencal herbs, fresh citrus and a mild, non dominant sweetness, finishing pleasantly long, floral, herbal and refreshing. Behind the bar it brings a floral herbal lift, citrus and a gentle sweetness, which makes it a natural spritz with tonic water, bitter lemon or sparkling wine and a versatile base for a sour or a modern cocktail. It is good neat and well chilled. Serve it cold and long to show the floral character.
