Pantalones Tequila Blanco

Pantalones is a certified organic tequila blanco built from 100% Blue Weber agave, pitched as an easygoing pour for shots, sipping or a Margarita. The name is Spanish for trousers and, in slang, for nerve, which suits a brand that does not take itself too seriously. Made in Mexico, it leans mild and approachable rather than rustic and assertive, with a 1% For The Planet pledge attached to every bottle sold.

On the nose it shows cooked and raw agave, caramel, fresh herbs and gentle fruit, with light guava, lime and vanilla. The palate follows with cooked agave, a clean sweetness, more caramel and a silky finish. As a blanco it is bottled at or near distillation strength, which keeps the focus on the agave itself rather than oak, and the soft, fruit forward shape points to ripe, well cooked piñas behind it.
