Pantalones Tequila Añejo

Pantalones Tequila Añejo is an organic 100% agave añejo that leans fully into its time in wood, matured for fifteen months in American oak casks that previously held whisky. Comfortably past the one year minimum that defines the añejo class under NOM-006, it is built around a sweet, oak forward profile rather than raw agave intensity.

The American oak gives a nose of vanilla, nuts and dried fruit, caramel, light smoke from the toasted barrel and roasted wood. On the palate it is soft with a gentle sweetness, American oak and nutty notes leading into a rich woody finish carrying vanilla, maple and dates, ending velvety and warm. Bottled at 40%, it is a barrel led añejo where the whisky cask shapes much of the character. The brand also donates 1% of sales to environmental partners through the 1% For The Planet program.
