Description

Sabatini is a family gin made in Tuscany, distilled by traditional methods on the Teccognano estate. Its character comes from a balance of juniper, citrus and Mediterranean herbs, with the standout detail being Tuscan-grown citrus fruit that lends a fresh, delicate fruitiness. Classic botanicals such as coriander, angelica and cinnamon fill out the frame.

The nose is fresh and lemony with floral and spicy hints of those local herbs. The palate is complex and balanced, a harmonious weave of juniper, citrus and gentle spice at a measured 41.3 per cent that lets the aromas show without shouting. The finish is long and pleasant, herbal and citrus-fresh. Pour it into a gin and tonic with a strip of lemon peel and a sprig of rosemary.
